TIME pedals are well renowned for their quality and reliable functionality in adverse mountain bike conditions. Inside we take a look at the X Roc S, X Roc, and the Z Strong’s.
Made in France, the Time range of pedals are built well and perform day in and out.
The X ROC S and X ROC pedals features a composite body and an oversized steel axle. It uses the ATAC System for ease of engagement Excellent mud-clearing due to the self-cleaning concept.
The platform is large so it works well for trail/all-mountain/enduro riders looking for extra width and support from their clipless pedal. The X ROC S has Angular float (+-5°) and lateral float (6 mm)
The X ROC has much of the same benefits as the X ROC S but lacks the adjustment of angular adjustment that the S includes.
X-Roc retails for $110 and X-Roc S retails for $135.

The Z Strong is much as previous years, but has had a few tweaks to improve its durability over time like an improved axle for more strength.
It features an aluminium body and oversize steel axle. The clipless ATAC System is used for ease of engagement. Adjustment of angular sensations, or “feel” is also available on the Z Strong.
