Saris bike racks are made in the USA and offer a lifetime warranty. You don’t see that these days on many products and Saris stands behind their products. We’ve taken a look at the Cycle On Pro quite awhile ago and they’ve come a long way at improving since then.
The new Saris two bike rack weighs in a mere 30lbs. If you’ve ever lifted a traditional bike rack you’ll be pleased when you pick this one up. Most hitch racks don’t have bars to lower on the front and rear wheels but Saris feels like this is the most secure way. The rear wheel tray also uses a strap to secure things further.
To lock your bikes to this rack, the cables lock neatly integrated into the center piece.
Saris says these trays are big enough to accommodate just about every bike out there regardless if you’ve got a Downhill Bike, Trail Bike, or Road bike. The trays are big and the rack tilts up or down for storage or getting into the back of the vehicle.
Out of the box it will fit up to a 4″ tire. You can add wheel holders to your SuperClamp rack to fit Fat Tire bikes (up to 5″). These racks fit bikes with a wheelbase up to 48″ right out of the box. If your bike has a longer wheel base, you will need their long wheelbase bar.
These new bike racks will be available in May.
The 2 bike rack weighs in at 32lbs and can hold 120lbs total.
The 4 bike rack weighs in at 63lbs and can hold up to 190lb total.
