At Sea Otter there’s often a lot of custom bikes that are on display and Specialized’s Jason Chamberlain and Robert Egger had a few at the event.
Inspirited by the rebirth of the Scrambler motorcycles, Robert Egger has created two unique bikes in his garage. He’s given a lot of freedom at Specialized and he’s produced some really great designs as a result. He was quite proud of these two bikes and his belt buckle to say the least. The Egger wall below at Specialized we captured during a visit has a lot of the Design work he’s done.
The custom Ohlins dampers on the Scrambler above along with the moto-style triangle stand among other details are some of the nice fine touches on the Egger Scrambler and Egger Road Toad. You can see more pictures of these in the gallery below.
Jason Chamberlain had a customized Specialized Riprock fat-bike that took a few pieces across the Specialized range to create a unique little bike that he was riding around. You may recognize him from the Boomslang pedal or his work on quite a number of bikes like the Demo. The narrow bars makes it easy to get in and out of tight spaces and it was a fun little bike to rip on. It featured a manual front derailleur and a lot of other custom bits and pieces to suit his height and needs.
The Specialized SWAT tool storage was a nice touch on this custom bike should it be needed. You can see more pictures of this in the gallery as well.
