Outdoor Demo allows attendees to test out the new 2014 products in Bootleg Canyon. Hot, dry, dusty, and sometimes bloody. Check out some of the highlights inside from the Outdoor demo.
Intense Cycles is based out of their Temecula, CA location and they brought out a lot of 27.5″ bikes including their 951 EVO. Their booth was typically empty after the morning rush as many riders were anxious to try out an Intense bike.
They had the Carbine, Tracer 275, 951 Evo and more. They were offering test-riders a chance to win an Intense Tracer 275 bike. We’ve taken a look at the 951 EVO earlier but you can watch the details on that below as well.
Interbike allows you to try out all sorts of things. Including a 3 wheel trike with clipless shoes or a Carbon 27.5″ Calfee Tandem with ENVE carbon wheels.
The rage this year seems to be Fat Bikes. Felt had this one they’re calling the Fat-E bike.
Copious amounts of beer are on tap at Interbike. If you like beer, you’d like Interbike. Felt and many other booths had beer flowing most of the day. Nothing like a refreshing beverage in 100 degree plus weather.
POC’s booth was bustling with activity. They had a variety of things on display including their new lineup of road products with a focus on safety. They introduced a lot of high-visibility products around their AVIP mantra (Attention Visibility Interaction Protection).
The new Road / XC Octal helmet falls in this category as well that is quite lightweight , has huge venting, and features what they’re calling the Eye Garage.
It’s a hydrophillic area that allows your sunglasses to fit securely in. Learn more in the POC videos we’ve shot to learn the details of their new products.
POC had a lot of the ICE devices on their helmets. This neat bluetooth device allows your phone to send an alert to your predetermined contacts in the event of a major crash.
DVO had a booth setup showcasing their mean green products including the Jade shock and Emerald fork.
Even Jeff Lenosky is trying out 27.5 wheels now. He just finished building this sweet Giant Trance with Mavic Enduro wheels, Teva Pinner shoes, Xfusion suspension, and a Shimano XTR 1×10 drivetrain.
If you’ve never ridden in a Ford Raptor, your life isn’t complete. FOX was giving riders a chance to catch a shuttle in their Raptors instead of the bumpy shuttle truck with a billion people onboard.

Bell was feeding people all day via the grill. It seemed like everyone was enjoying the free food and beverages Bell provided. Bell also launched a bunch of new products that we covered in an earlier post so check that out as well.
MRP purchased Elka’s stash of Stage 5 shocks and have rebranded them to a new shock they’re calling the Raze.
