For 2013, Mavic has relaed a variety of new products. Earlier this year they showed off a variety of new 29 inch wheels like a budget oriented $300 wheelset. At Eurobike they had a new Crosstrail wheelset as well as some new Notch trail-oriented products including helmets and clothing.
The Notch Trail helmet is a new helmet offering from Mavic aimed at the trail rider.

It is available in S, M, and L sizes. The rear has good coverage on the back of the head as well as their ‘Ergo Hold’ system that lets you snug the helmet up nicely. There are also reflective highlights for improved visibility.
MSRP is $110.00 for the Notch helmet.
There are also a variety of new Notch clothing pieces as well to match up with the new Notch helmet including shorts, jersey, and shoes
Aimed mostly at the Trail rider, the Notch gear fits the typical styling and benefits that trail riders are after adding functionality in a relaxed form. The shots looked to be built well an had a good balance of durability and lightweight qualities.
Moving on to wheels, Mavic has a variety of new 29er wheels that you can check out on their website as well a new 26″ Crosstrail wheelset.
Mavic Crosstrail 26in wheelset
The new Crosstrail packs a lot of new features this year including ITS-4 (Mavic’s wheel engagement system), UST rim for easy tubeless setup, 19mm wide internally, a rounder profile, and as their internal spoke milling (ISM) as well to reduce its weight. Claimed weight for the wheelset is 1650g (760 front /890 rear). 15mm/qr front and 135/142 options in the rear. MSRP is $600 on the Crosstrail.
Mavic Crossmax SX
If you’re looking for a burlier wheelset, Mavic still offers their Crossmax SX wheelset and Deemax Ultimate as well as a variety of rims should you want to build you own wheelset.
