Devinci Cycles has an all new 140mm travel Troy mountain bike they’ve been updating recently that we’re excited to tell you about. Check inside for details from Devinci as well as a awesome video with the new Troy featuring Steve Smith!
With the introduction of the Spartan last year it was time for the Troy to get some refinements as well. The Troy maintains some aspects of the earlier version but sees a longer front triangle to give riders more reach (~20mm). This helps their range fit more riders as well as more riders looking to have a longer front end. The Troy is their Trail 27.5″ model that is designed to get you up the hill as well as down. Additional revisions to the updated troy reduce the chainstay length 4mm.
No two mountains are the same. That’s why we storm the globe—from Rockies to Andes and beyond—stoked to caress and conquer every nuance. Devinci’s All-Mountain Troy is the badass tasked to rip that apex terrain. Powered by our Testing is Everything modus, a fifth generation Split-Pivot platform increases bottom-out force based on expert intel from DGR rippers like Stevie Smith.
Clean technical lines from top to bottom thanks to advanced team-inspired geometry. Power up steep climbs with intuitive handling aided by an axed-down 424 mm chainstay. And harness the stability-enhancing benefits of Boost 148 rear-axle spacing for charging coastal backcountry terrain at ultra-high speeds. The All-Mountain Troy scores high marks wherever mountains loom. Point it toward the ranges and roam free.
The carbon options will have similar specs to the aluminum version of the same name (Alloy RR and Carbon RR for example), and the same travel (140mm rear / 150mm front). The carbon model will feature aluminum chain stays and linkage.
With the exception of the Troy S only available in the aluminum version, all other models (RS,SX,RR) will all feature the same build kit. It is an evolution of the current Troy.
The new Troy will be available in November 2015. Full pricing and carbon color scheme to be released at Eurobike and Interbike.
