Dual Slalom/4x fading away

Hey Everyone,

I'm tired of the way slalom and 4x is getting treated. So I have posed the question that you see below, and I'm out to see what everyone thinks and what can be done to change the way DS and 4x is fading out of the mountain bike picture

why is slalom becoming the throw away event at each venue?, it seems that no resort is taking time to build a awesome slalom course and thus making people not wanting to even bother with enterting, it?.




I have posed this question at many forums and at local races, and my respones have been quite interesting.

So what do you guys think about the above question, and also what can be done differentley at world cups and other races.
