Just thought I would start a thread so everyone could get to know everyone a little better.

So were is everyone's favorite place to ride?

Mine is Blue Mountain. Great trails and lift access what more could you ask for.

If a lot of people seem to enjoy riding in the same place then maybe a ride all together could happen.

I enjoy riding all of them but some of my favorites include:

O-Chute
Waterfall
The Wall
Squeker
R-Shore
Shot Glass

and of course,

Showcase
Autobahn/Scorpian Thunder

R-shore was closed, but all the others were open i believe and we hit up pretty much all the rest of them.

I liked Autobahn the most

Ya Autobahn is a super fun and fast trail.

Blue Mountain is in Ontario, Canada. About two hours north of Toronto.

oh man... bad news..

No more jumps at Blue Mountain for now. They're leveling it and have a town meeting to decide what to do. Noobs on the dh trail getting hurt.

Ya I heard. I was there the first day all the jumps were taken out. It is still a ton of fun. Just gives me a chance to work on all of the more technichal stuff.

Things should be getting back to normal next yearas well.

Also only man made things are gone so all of the rocks and stuff are still there.

Blue is still a lot of fun though and I would recomend it to anyone.

There is a huge discussion on this over at www.dropmachine.com a lot of useful stuff came out.

Are you planning on being at the meating?

Sorry for the late reply.

The meeting went great. It seems like the people at Blue are really trying to get the rider input on situations. They are truly trying to make Blue Mountain better and safer.

Can't wait until next season.

porcupine ridge for me for XC. Shit house trails for DH and hucky jumping good times.

Buckwallow for XC racing.

But my all time absolute favorite bestest ever place to ride.....

OUTSIDE!

I'll have to go with FBM on this one and say Blue mountain. And I was at blue after they shut the jumps down, the 6 pack, and the progression park was untouched, just blocked off. they only got rid of the jumps on the trails, except highway when i was there, but they just completely closed highway down :(
