There’s no way of remaining indifferent in front of the Black Snake track in Val di Sole: you either love or hate it. Australian Troy Brosnan has come to Val di Sole to test the feared course of the upcoming UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
On Sunday, August 29th, the legendary track of the Bike Park Val di Sole will host the Downhill competitions and the final day of the World Champs in Italy, promising surprises, a great show, and big emotions, as usual.
Ahead of the big fixture, the track has been refurbished and partially renewed, and many top riders were spotted in Val di Sole over the last few weeks to check what’s new on the toughest downhill slope in the World.
Among them was the 28-year-old Australian, coming off a victory in World Cup round 1 in Leogang (Austria), and looking for a big display in Trentino. “It is fast and technical – said Brosnan. – Being loose on this track is not going to pay off, you have got to be focused and into it from start to finish. It takes the best to win in Val di Sole”.
