PARK TOOL OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR 2021 COMMUNITY TOOL GRANTS

Park Tool often releases new products like the DF-1, EWS-1, and OM-2 but today Park Tool is pleased to announce that the application period for their 2021 Community Tool Grant will open November 10, 2020 and run until December 31, 2020.

Now in its sixth year, the Park Tool Community Tool Grant has so far donated over $75,000 worth of tools to deserving organizations.

Park Tool will award grants consisting of bicycle tools and repair stands to ten nonprofit organizations or community groups, in order to help them continue to make a difference in their community.

Each of the ten grant recipients will receive over $1,400 in Park Tool products including:

  • 1 Park Tool PK-5 Professional Mechanic Tool Kit
  • 2 Park Tool PCS-10.2 Portable Repair Stands
  • 5 Park Tool SA-1 Shop Aprons
  • 1 Park Tool BBB-4 Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair


In addition, one exceptional program will receive the President’s Choice Award, which will provide them with an additional $1,000 to spend on more tools and repair equipment.


“More than ever, organizations like the ones we’ve supported over the past five years are critical parts of the communities they serve, and we’re proud to continue to provide assistance to those who use bikes as a means to make a difference,” said Eric Hawkins, Park Tool president and owner.


Applications for the grants will be accepted from November 10, 2020 until December 31, 2020 at

www.parktool.com/form/community-tool-grant-request.

Winners will be announced in mid January of 2021.
