Fancy winning a Hiplok? Hiplok heard front line workers’ bikes were being stolen and they stepped in to help. They’ve launched a kid’s contest to help raise awareness for bike theft. Details inside.
Hiplok is launching an anti-bike theft poster competition called #StopBikeThief. Families across the world are being asked to design posters with anti-theft messaging and post them on Instagram for a prize.
This campaign corresponds to the 100 bike locks the HIplok team dispersed to NHS (The public healthcare system of the United Kingdom) workers on the front lines. Which was in reaction to the many reports of essential workers getting their bicycles stolen after working long shifts, saving lives, while also putting their own lives in danger.
The selected winner will be taking in a Hiplok family bike lock pack as well as an assortment of Z LOKs as prizes for the runner ups. The competition is geared towards families, stuck mostly indoors, to have a little fun as well as
Hiplok Co-founder, Ben Smith, commented “We know these are challenging times but stealing bikes from the very people saving our lives is not the answer. We recognise this gesture is a small token for the herculean effort our frontline workers are putting in but we do hope it will support the prevention of future thefts so that they can get to work and carry out the most important of jobs.” The Hiplok #StopBikeThief competition launches this week, see contest info below.
