showed up to Interbike with not just one or two pairs of new shoes but a complete line, including women’s and kids sizes. Whether your flavor is casual skate style on flats or fully tech’d out and clipped in, Ride Concepts seems to have the bases covered. They have launched 3 distinct lines including the budget friendly Session series which range in price from $100 to $130 and consisting entirely of flat pedal designs. Notably, the Session series appears to be packed with both style and features for the price point, including D3O in the insole to protect against heel and forefoot bruising.
The Flow Series adds a bit more tech detail, including a mid-top with D3O to protect your ankles and a more technical style. I’m not a fan of bulky shoes and Ride Concepts seems to have done a banger job leveraging D3O to maintain protection while keeping the overall profile of their shoes slim and trim. I’m looking forward to getting some time in these shoes.
Ride Concepts has even launched a line of sliders aimed to let your toes breath a little post-ride. Reportedly, they worked on the footbed design to optimize support to aide in recovery.
