Inside we take a look at Dakotah’s Unior Devinci World Cup downhill bike.
Dakotah had his 29″ wheel’d Wilson at the Windrock Pro GRT so we snapped a few pictures and checked out a few details on his world cup bike. His second place run on race day was impressive given the World Cup racers present (Syndicate, Madison-Saracen, YT Mob members, and many more).
Follow along with Dakotah on a practice run down the course at Windrock.
The frame is protected by the carbon downtube protector that also elongages to help protect the rear linkage as well. Note the shock and linkage eyelets.

Blackbox chainring 34t with Sram XO carbon cranks and HT clipless pedals.
The Mudhugger fender bolted to the Blackbox BoXXer keeps the mud and water spray out of his eyes
Suspension is key and Dakotah had his suspension setup by RockShox. The Eibach 450lb spring along with the delrin style mounts you see at the top and bottom of the spring allow the shock to do its magic without binding.
Guide brakes and a look at the bottom of his Blackbox BoXXer.
The prototype that Dakotah is riding has an aluminum front triangle with a carbon rear seatstay. The drivetrain is full SRAM. He is also running Race Face wheels, Maxxis tires, and the Flat Tire Defender (FTD) foam insert tubeless system which he was quite pleased with.
