Check out some more Interbike updates inside from Atomlab, Corsair Bikes, and B&W International.
Corsair Bikes had their Ambush bike stolen at Eurobike and only had a frame on display as a result.
The Ambush is an interesting bike in their range featuring a Pressfit bottom bracket, 142mm rear wheel spacing, 150mm of travel, Konig linkage to be playful, long front-center, and a 66 degree head angle (150mm fork). If its anything like the Konig we rode in the past, it’ll be a spritely bike.
Atomlab is releasing a new Trailking pedal at the end of this year. It is concave, has options for a ti spindle, uses a full length axle, utilizes 1 bushing and 1 bearing, and will be priced at $99.
Dimensions wise the concave pedal is about 115mm(tall) x 101mm(wide) x 18mm (wide).
B&W International was showcasing their Curv Bike case which rang in a a scant 18lbs and claims to be the worlds lightest bike case.
The B&W International bike curv case they had on display was quite light. B&W told us there’s enough room inside for a 29er or road bike as well. The light weight makes it easier to move and meet any airline regulations. Optional padding inside will add some weight however. We’re not sure if they’ll be besting other bike carriers in terms of durability or cool factor but this is certainly an interesting one.
Curv®-material is 12x stronger than ABS plastic, highly impact resistant, abrasion resistant, tough and durable ? even at low temperatures and is up to 50% lighter compared to fiber-reinforced composites or ABS plastic.
The case comes apart and together by closing the two halves together and securing them.
It has wheels on both sides of the case and a handle to pull it along or pivot it around easily.
