Outerbike is around the corner and is a great event for ANYONE looking to swing a leg over the latest and greatest bikes in Moab, UT. Consumers, industry, friends, family, are all welcome. 3 types of passes are available this year. The event officially kicks off September 30th or the 29th if you want to start things off with a Whole Enchilada ride. Be sure to get registered!

We’ve covered Outerbike for some time now and it’s an event we easily recommend to anyone looking to try the latest bikes out.  You can see some of our 2015 coverage here and here.

This year they’re offering 3 passes to choose from:

  • Full Demo: The whole shebang! 3 days of bike demos, 3 delicious lunches, shuttled rides, access to all Moab Brand trails, prizes & contests, parties, and beer for 2 evenings at the event!
  • BYOB: NO bike demos with this pass. If you are certain there is no better bike than the one you own and you feel guilty even thinking about riding another, this is the ticket for you. Bring Your Own Bike to Outerbike, enjoy the shuttled rides, access to all Moab Brand trails, 3 delicious lunches, prizes & contests, parties, and beer for 2 evenings!
  • Social Card: NO bike demos or shuttled rides with this pass. Do you or a friend want to come to Outerbike but not ride bikes? The Social Card gives access to all 3 days of Outerbike events (except bike demos & shuttled rides) and enjoy the perks of Outerbike including 3 lunches, parties, and beer for 2 evenings at the event!

Thursday, September 29.

Check-in and depart from the River Canyon Lodge parking lot (71 West 200 North, behind hotel) for all shuttled rides and clinics.
We will have all the fixings ready for you to make a lunch for the day.
Sign up ahead of time to guarantee your spot on shuttled rides. Space is limited. Signing up the morning of may leave you standing in the parking lot and not on board for an excellent ride!

  • 7:00 am Whole Enchilada shuttle riders to check-in and make lunch.
  • 7:30 am Whole Enchilada shuttle leaves at 7:30am sharp!
  • 7:30- 9:30 am Registration and early Check-in for Outerbike. Get your card and/or wristband so you can play!
  • 7:30 am Hazard County-Jimmy Keen-UPS-Porcupine Rim riders check-in and make lunch.
  • 8:00 am Hazard County-Jimmy Keen-UPS-Porcupine Rim shuttle leaves at 8:00am sharp!
  • 9:30 am LPS-Porcupine Rim riders check-in and make lunch.
  • 10:00 am LPS-Porcupine Rim shuttle leaves at 10:00am sharp!
  • 5 – 8:00 pm Registration and early Check-in at Lions Park (junction of Hwy 191 and Hwy 128; in the park on the north side of Hwy 128). Get your card and/or wristband so you can play!

Friday, September 30

  • 8:00 am Registration and check-in opens at event. Get your card and/or wristband so you can play!
  • 8:30 am Van shuttle from the Moab Information Center (25 East Center Street) to the Outerbike venue.
  • 9:00 am Gates open & bike demos begin!
  • 9:15 am – 2:00 pm Continuous shuttles departing to Navajo Rocks trailhead (5 intermediate trails, 1 expert). Shuttle will also bring you back to venue.
  • Noon – 2:30 pm Lunch!
  • 2:00 pm Last shuttle departs for Navajo Rocks trailhead.
  • 4:00 pm Beer!
  • 5:00 pm Demos close.
  • 5:30 pm Van shuttle from the Outerbike venue back to the Moab Information Center.

Saturday, October 1

  • 8:00 am Registration and check-in opens at event. Get your card and/or wristband so you can play!
  • 8:30 am Van shuttle from the Moab Information Center (25 East Center Street) to the Outerbike venue.
  • 9:00 am Gates open & bike demos begin!
  • 9:15 am – 1 pm Continuous shuttles to Magnificent 7 (a.k.a Mag 7: 6 intermediate trails, 3 expert) trailhead: access to Bull Run, Getaway, Great Escape, Arth’s Corner, Gemini Bridges and more! Ride back to venue.
  • Noon – 2:30 pm Lunch!
  • 2:00 pm Last shuttle leaves for Mag 7 trailhead.
  • 4:00 pm Beer!
  • 5:00 pm Demo event closes
  • 5:30 pm Van shuttle from the Outerbike venue back to the Moab Information Center.
  • 9:00 pm Outerbike Party! Woody’s Tavern (221 South Main). Live music provided by The Patwa Reggae Band.

Sunday, October 2

  • 8:30 am Registration and check-in opens at event. Get your card and/or wristband so you can play!
  • 8:30 am Van shuttle from the Moab Information Center (25 East Center Street) to the Outerbike venue.
  • 9:00 am Gates open & bike demos begin!
  • 9:15 am – 1:30 pm Continuous shuttles for Amasa Back trailhead (all expert trails): access to Hymasa, Captain Ahab, Pothole Arch, Rockstacker and Jackson trails. Shuttle will also bring you back to venue.
  • Noon – 2:30 pm Lunch!
  • 1:00 pm Last shuttle to Amasa Back trailhead.
  • 4 :00 pm Demo event closes.
  • 4:30 pm Van shuttle from the Outerbike venue back to the Moab Information Center.
