Santa Cruz Bicycles had a big presence at Sea Otter this year. They had the Syndicate bikes on display in their booths as well as many of their team athletes competing and signing autographs throughout the week. Logan Peat also had a custom bike being built up for SlopeStyle that took som common parts and some custom ones to give him a sweet new bike to compete on.
Logan Peat’s custom bike was pretty neat to check out. He had a mixture of SRAM/Chromag parts on it as well.
The paint job on the frame was custom and has a lot of personal touches for Peat. Look for this bike in competition this year.
There’s a variety of additional shots of his bike in the gallery below as well.
The Syndicate riders Greg Minnaar, Steve Peat, and Josh Bryceland had their bikes on display at Sea Otter this year as well.
Greg Minnaar’s hand was broken/injured during Crankworx Rotorua and his mechanic modified his grip slightly to help him get through World Cup #1 in Lourdes, France.
The Chris King Buzzworks headset on the Syndicate V10 carbon bikes allows for a clean way to give the Syndicate riders even more adjustability out of their bikes.
Cedric Gracia also was in attendance on his Santa Cruz bikes with DVO suspension. His mechanic was building a new Santa Cruz 5010C with ‘Cedricate’ decas.
Cedric could be seen throwing whips and roosting on the downhill and dual slalom courses at Sea Otter.
