2015 is fast approaching and a lot of new gear is being shown as we speak. Learn about the new POC VPD Air pads inside along with some highlight from Norco, Cane Creek, and Alpinestars.
POC
If you’re familiar with POC you know they make some stellar protection products and they’ve got a variety of new things in store for 2015 that will put a smile on many of your faces.
Protection is important and many riders love POC’s knee and elbow protection items. POC has created a new knee and elbow guard for 2015 that is slimmer and designed to work well for XC/ Enduro / Trail riders. They feature a single strap closure and some silicon grip as well to keep them in place. The pads are low profile too so they can easily fit under jeans for those dirt jumpers or slopestyle riders.
The new VPD Air pads are easy to throw in your pack to ensure you have protection on your ride. The VPD Air protection items cover a little bit less area but definitely in the key areas.
Pricing is going to be $75 for the elbow and $85 for the knee pads.
The MIPS system has been well received by riders and POC is carrying this system over to their Crane helmet as an option for 2015 at $170.
Cane Creek
Cane Creek was at Crankworx showcasing their fine range of products like their new Inline shock. If you haven’t read about it yet, be sure to check our article on it and other Cane Creek products.
Many riders stopped by to chat with them and enter in a drawing for a shock of their choosing.

The 2015 Norco Range Carbon is a beautiful bike and has a smart build spec across the lineup for the intended Enduro / Trail rider. It features 650b/27.5″ wheels and has 160mm of travel. It’s available in a few trim options to suit your budget as well.

The 2015 Threshold has a lot of neat features for those of you into cross bikes. In addition to looking good, the Threshold also packs a variety of features from the ground-up that you typically haven’t see on a cross bike like a mtb-style 142x12mm thru-axle in the rear end and 15mm up front.
