Devinci Global Racing has been testing out a new 650b/27.5″ equipped Wilson on the World Cup circuit. You can see some of their progress inside on their latest prototype and hear from Gabe and Stevie have to say about it.
The latest prototypes that the Devinci Global Racing team have been testing out will eventually trickle into a production Wilson but for now they’re testing a few prototypes. In Leogang during the World Cup weekend Gabe and Stevie gave us some additional insight into the new prototype you see here.
With Stevie Smith fresh off an injury he’s come up to speed quickly after missing the first two world Cups on this new bike. Himself and teammate Nick Beer have been providing feedback to make better Devinci bikes.
The shock position has been adjusted on this prototype 650b/27.5″ bike a little bit and they haven’t tried to just squeeze bigger wheels in the current 26″ chassis. Devinci continue to try and nail the geometry, chassis, and the way the suspension feels with the new wheel size.
Be sure to check out additional Devinci content we’ve posted to see more about what they’ve been working on.
