The Kamikaze bike games are back. Registration is open for the 2014 edition, set to take place Thursday, Sept 18 – Sunday, Sept. 21. Mark your calendars!
Downhill – Pros chasing USA Cycling points will let it all hang out on this technically intense course. And to make it even more interesting, the trail is going to receive a total facelift for summer ’14
Enduro – Competitors in the enduro at Kamikaze Bike Games will complete three timed stages as well as three untimed, but mandatory, sections. The weekend also inlcludes an MTB Gran Fondo – A fun mountain bike challenge spanning the entire mountain, MTB Gran Fondo is open to all ages and abilities.
Kamikaze – Known as the fastest downhill in the world, racers on the 3.4 mile course routinely hit 60+ MPH. The fastest of the fearless clock times that are less than four minutes
Speed & Style – The invite-only race will feature top pros hammering down a dual slalom course, with a twist– in addition to big berms and gates, the course will include a handful of features.
Best Trick – The weekend’s other invite-only event, the best trick jam session features top pros performing aerial stunts on 26″ bikes. Last year’s winner, Josh Hult landed a 360 double downside whip.
Cross Country – Riders race across varied and technical single track, pavers and more for the most popular event of the Games. Riders can also particiapte in a 1 day, 2 stage Cyclo-Cross event
Kids Race – Because your kids also feel the need for speed! These races will take place at Canyon and The Village. Registration will be onsite only and there will be three age groups: 6 and under, 7-9, and 9 and Over.
Dual Slalom – Two riders on two identical courses racing to the finish in the fastest time.
