As the season begins, many riders will be sporting the newest clothing from Troy Lee Designs. Inside we highlight a few of the pieces that you can pickup.
Troy Lee Designs continues to refine their clothing lineup and for 2014 there are a lot of refinments across the board. We highlighted some updates to some of the knee-pads like the T-Bone that you can check out as well as the 2014 helmet options.
The new 2014 Sprint pants are very lightweight and breathable. TLD followers may recall the SE Pro bike pant but this new Sprint pant takes things even further. In comparison to a full moto inspired pant this one is definitively geared towards the pedal athlete. The pants are quite light and you don’t have heavy leathers integrated into this design. If you like riding with pants in warmer temperatures these pants should work well. If you’ve ever rode in muddy weather, you are probably aware of the affect that mud can have on pants and these pants should help alleviate some of that since they’re quite a bit lighter in comparison. Drying should also be quicker.

To match the Sprint Pants / Shorts, there is a matching Sprint jersey that takes similar design queues. It is quite breathable and the materials used help facilitate airflow.
The sprint jersey is available in the same colors to match the pants/shorts.
Skyline (performance trail gear)
For enduro/trail riders looking for clothing, the Skyline product lineup is looking quite good for 2014. It can work for XC but is intended for riders that fit in-between XC and All-Mountain. Troy Lee Designs also has a women’s lineup of products in the Skyline and Ace range.

The Ruckus products are geared a little bit more towards the more aggressive trail rider but still appeal to many all-mountain riders.

Ruckus Shorts
Liners are something that many shorts seem to either hit or miss for some riders. If you’re not riding with a liner/chamois of some sort you’re missing out on some comfort to say the least. The included Ruckus chamois can be seen below.
