New for 2014, Specialized introduces a $150 Dissident Comp full face helmet. The new Comp helmet is a little bit heavier than the Dissident but it has the same features as its big brother in a more affordable price tag.
Video: Dissident overview
For 2014, the Dissident remains the same but a new Dissident Comp is available for 2014. If you’re looking for details on the Dissident, be sure to check out our previous coverage on the helmet to learn all about it. The Dissident features a lot of modern features in a very lightweight package (leatt compatibility, eject compatible, 4th dimension cooling, ASTM 1952 certification).
The new 2014 Dissident Comp packs the same great protection, ventilation, and features of the Dissident into a composite shell. Altering the shell material allows us to offer this exceptional gravity helmet at a wallet friendly price.
