Lapierre have announced their team for 2013. Riders including Loic Bruni, Emmeline Ragot, Sam Blenkinsop, and Junior rider Loris Vergier. Cam Cole is no longer on the team. Details inside.
After a successful race season crowned with a (Junior) World Champion, Team Lapierre International is pleased to announce its team members for 2013. Lapierre highlighted some of the riders’ victories in a PR they’ve sent out but this certainly doesn’t encompass all of their accomplishments.
“Joining World Champion Loic Bruni and Sam Blenkinsop is Emmeline Ragot. The squad will be completed by Loris Vergier as his first year in the Junior Category. ”
It’s worth noting that the UCI have created a Junior World Cup category that hasn’t gotten too much discussion about that will shake things up next year. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out as some Juniors from last year will be able to race against the elites due to their results.
Due to our commitment and focus on DH racing, Lapierre International Team has decided to no longer compete in the UCI series with a dedicated XC team.
