2012 Thomson Direct Mount Stem, X2, blue, red, and white color option

7/27/2011 : sicklines

Of all the things unexpected we saw last weekend this one was certainly pretty high up on the list.  Thomson was showing off some samples they were considering producing… Including colors not of the raw / black palette. Thomson has been taking their time with the direct mount stem.  It has gone through numerous revisions and they really are looking to create not only an esthetically pleasing stem, but one that can also last.  Below are some samples (red / blue).

The revised bolts Thomson was showing here are designed to allow for consumers to be able to install their products without excessive torque.  The smaller allen bolts should help consumers install their products as intended.
