Transition sought to bring the mountain back to biking when they designed the TransAM.  With new bikes introduced each year from many bike companies it can often differentiate and segment a product’s core ideology.  With the TransAM, Transition sought to go back to the roots of what mountain biking was all about.  They focused on key concepts with the TransAM that help define what mountain biking was originally intended to do but with some modern refinements necessary in a bike that can tackle the uphill as well as downhill sections of trail.  Fun, simplicity, and versatility are key ideas they focused on when designing the TransAM.
