Lenses
The SPY lens system is simple and proven. The lens is made out of Lexan, has tear off posts, and has an anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens.
Lens Highlights
- The lenses have tear off posts so you can install tear off’s easily.
- The anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens works well and i couldn’t get them to fog up by just breathing into them. In some real muggy conditions, they didn’t fog, but some condensation did form on the inside of the lens.
- Plenty of replacement lenses available starting at $5.95
Lens Issues
- Lens replacing takes some time.
- It’d be nice if the lenses were pre-curved to fit easier inside the body.
- Some care is necessary in handling the lens to to maintain the anti-fog coating.
- No prescription inserts available.
