Rudy Project Klonyx MX Goggle Review
Goggle Body
Rudy Project designed the body of the Klonyx with a lot of features and benefits. There’s ample breathing room inside the goggle and ventilation all around the body.
The silicon on the goggle straps were even engineered quite smart. Instead of just taking a strip of silicon horizontally across the strap, they serpentined up and down the strap to maximize the amount of silicon that they could fit on the strap.

Body Highlights
- Tons of silicon on the straps to help adhere the goggles to the helmet.
- 4 layer foam to increase comfort and keep sweat away.
- Accepts prescription inserts.
- The Klonyx accepts tear-off lenses.
- The Klonyx has air intake holes in the front of the frame to increase airflow.
- The body is soft and flexible. This helps them be more durable and conform to faces of all sizes.
- There’s plenty of ventilation along the sides and foam to prevent any dirt or debris from entering.
- Nose guard to increase protection and doesn’t inhibit breathing or vision.
- The straps are replaceable.
- Wide body design internally to provide ample room for breathing.
Some improvements to the goggle body
- The nose guard foam is attached with glue that doesn’t stick well and won’t stay glued long.
- More color options (only silver / blue / black are available).
- The inside of the body is silver and can reflect light. It would be nice to see some sort of anti-reflecting coating on the inside to stop any reflections.
- It would be nice if the face foam was removable.
Color Options
- Black frame w/transparent lens
- Silver frame w/transparent lens
- Blue frame w/transparent lens
