The Deity 25.4mm stem is designed well and has a lot of nice features about it. The styling of the stem is original and very strong. The center is drilled out to cut some weight off and the use of all black bolts makes the stem esthetically look great with the clean Deity text.
The pinch bolts are on the side of the stem and easy to adjust. Since the steerer clamping bolts are on the side of the stem, your knees won’t be cut or dinged by the bolts.
The stem offers a pretty low stack height which is great. It only comes in one size though, 50mm with a zero degree rise. It would be nice if they had a few more options for sizing on the 25.4mm stem. The weight of the 25.4mm stem weighed in at 286grams. While this isn’t too heavy, it’s on the higher end of 25.4mm stem weights.
