The Deity 25.4mm bar is strong enough for street, and is also downhill capable. Made out of 2014 T6, the bars offer a solid ride. The sweep of the bars is very comfortable. Since the bars are made out of 2014 AL and not 7075 AL, the bars will bend before they break. Smart design.
The 25.4mm Deity bar is 28in (710mm) which is great since you can cut it down to whatever size you like or run it at 28” if you like wide bars.
The main downside to the Deity 25.4mm handlebars is that they only come in a 50mm rise. It would be nice if there were a few more height options as 50mm rise might be a bit much for some tastes.
If you decide on the white powder coat color, it is pretty strong but is susceptible to showing scratching fairly easily. It would be nice if the bars had marks on the outsides of the bars that marked off every 1-2mm so that cutting the bars evenly would be a little bit easier.
The markings on the bar that tell you the degree of the bar would work better on the top of the bar instead of the front. It’s impossible to see the degree markings when using the Deity 25.4 stem. Another solution to the degree markings would be for Deity to put the degree markings on the side of the stem to lineup with the 0 degree mark on the handlebar.
