Build Quality
The Enforce Air DLX Gauge has a nice light feel while still not feeling cheap or inadequately constructed. The plastic on the pump is strong and durable which shouldn’t pose durability issues down the road. The pump tucks away nicely when not in use due to its thin construction. The hose winds up into the provided hook and clamp very nicely making sure it doesn’t come loose during your ride. The mounting bracket holds the pump quite securely. Axiom also added a nice velcro strap for extra security when stowing the hose and pump as well as to keep them from making noise. The handle is made of dual density plastic and rubber which feels nice in the hand and secure even when pumping at high pressures. The valve is topped off nicely by a removable alloy cap which secures the reversible internals for Schrader or Presta use.
In-line gauge detail
How well does it work?
The pump works well. It is light and secure while hand pumping. If extra power is needed the pump is easily convertible by flipping down the foot stand. The stroke on the pump is long enough to ensure you’re getting the maximum amount of air when inflating while still keeping the pump very compact. The hose is of ample length for most tasks and the valve piece works well when inflating.
The gauge comes in very handy when wanting to change pressures. It is easy to read and serviceable if need be. The red line used to mark the pressure can be a little wide for those looking for the utmost precision. It shouldn’t be a real issue if you look carefully at the gauge while inflating.

Issues and Concerns
The line on the gauge can be a little wide for those looking for precision measurement as I mentioned above. Precision can also be hindered as the gauge itself is labeled in 5 PSI increments with minimal space in between for fine tuning. Reading the gauge can also prove difficult in some situations as the gauge faces toward the valve making it hard to get a good look at the gauge. The hose itself is of ample length for most applications. However, if you are trying to inflate a tire in floor pump mode the highest the hose will let you reach is about 2 o’clock with maximum stretch and pump positioning.
Pricing
The MSRP on the Enforce Air DLX Gauge is $35.
Conclusion
The Enforce Air DLX Gauge is a nice mini pump that easily converts to a floor pump when the job demands. Its construction is top notch using a nice 6063 T6 aluminum and quality plastics. By knurling the barrel Axiom was able to give a nice bit of traction for your hands while pumping, even if the conditions aren’t at their best. The pump folds up nice and compact and has multiple mounting methods with hardware included. Axiom developed an easy to read gauge that is really nice to have when making pressure changes. Even though the gauge is easy to read it does lack precision that some riders may want and can be hard to view from some angles. Otherwise I was impressed that the gauge itself was serviceable as this allows the pump to used longer in the future by repairing it if any problem should arise.
