Adidas Yodai Goggle Review
Goggle Body
The Adidas Eyewear Yodai body is very soft and pliable. The shape of the body is not only stylish, but quite unique. The curvature of the body and lens combined make for a unique goggle appearance that no other goggle looks like.
The goggle body itself is pretty small and while it looks very stylish, this also means it won’t fit as many people quite as well.

Body Highlights
- The Adidas goggles feature a really nice quick lens changing feature. It is easy to pop lenses in and out without fumbling. Most goggles attach to the body via numerous small tabs that the lens attaches to the body. The Adidas Yodai only attaches in two spots (above the nose and in between the eyebrows). The goggle body has a groove that the rest of the lens stays in.
- The goggle strap has silicon strips to make sure the goggles don’t move once on the helmet.
- The Adidas goggles can accept prescription inserts.
- The body is soft and flexible. This helps them be more durable and conform to faces of all sizes.
- The Adidas Yodai body has some stylish body design and a very nice finish that is unique.
- Ample color options available to fit whatever your style might be.
- Two-stage foam design to increase comfort / fit.
Some improvements to the goggle body
- The Adidas goggle straps are shorter than most goggles. While there was enough strap to go around every helmet we tried it would have been nice to have a longer strap to increase compatibility and comfort with bigger helmets. I suspect the strap length is shorter because the Yodai is technically a snow goggle but is capable in mountain bike application as well.
- The ventilation in the Yodai’s is ok but there could be a bit more around the sides.
- The Yodai’s do not have the most technologically advanced foam to wick sweat away. It would be nice to see some more development in an additional layer to wick sweat away as the Yodai’s have one consistent foam type/layer between your face and the goggle body.
- There’s a good amount of foam in the nose bridge which makes sense in a snow application but for dirt use, it might be a bit much and cause some discomfort. The foam could also go 360 degress around and could be a bit thinner to increase airflow.
- Since the frame is on the smaller end of the spectrum, the eyes sit somewhat close to the edge of the foam depending on your face. It would be nice to see some more space to allow better breathing.
- Another feature that would be welcomed would be to have the foam removable to either replace or clean easier.
- The inside of the body is white and can reflect light. Having a darker color, or some sort of anti-reflecting coating would be a nice addition.
- If you pick the white goggles, they can show dirt easily on the straps.
- There is no rock / nose guard available.
