Adidas Burna Goggle Review
Lenses
The lens area is where Adidas tries to set themselves apart from the other goggles. The lenses obviously had a good amount of time spent developing them. We received the Burna Snow Lens as well as the tear-off model. The tear-off model Burna has a fairly standard lens that is similar to most of the other moto goggle lenses, but had a few benefits over them. The Burna snow lens didn’t have tear-off posts, but offered superior anti-fogging.

Burna Tear-off Lens Highlights
- Two point contact system to install lens in the body makes changing lenses easier. The single pane Tear-off lens wasn’t quite as easy as the dual pane Adidas lens.
- I was barely able to get the lenses to show a faint bit of fog, but it would quickly dissipate.
- Tear off posts are solid and made out of metal.
- Lens is permanently curved and pre-shaped so it fits in the goggle a lot quicker.
- The Adidas Burna lenses offer a very wide field of vision and ample breathing room inside.
- Prescription lens inserts available (Performance Insert)
- Cylindrical vision advantage allows the Adidas Burna lens to be curved significantly while sill providing clarity.
Burna Tear-off Lens Issues
- The inside antifog layer is delicate and care has to be taken not to scrach it or wipe it as the antifog layer is a coating.
- Lens replacement prices are a bit pricey and only clear lens available in the tear-off/moto style.
Burna Snow Lens Highlights
- Clima Cool design allows airflow through the lens to increase airflow.
- Two point contact system to install lens in the body makes for lightning fast lens changes.
- I was unable to fog up the Burna Snow lens which was really amazing.
- Lens is permanently curved and pre-shaped so it fits in the goggle a lot quicker.
- The Adidas Burna lenses offer a very wide field of vision and ample breathing room inside.
- Adidas Burna uses a two lens system, the first is the inside antifog lens. It is one of the best anti-fogging lenses I’ve ever used. I could not get the inside lens to fog up at all. The outside lens is a polycarbonate lens and provides 100% UV protection. The outer lens is impact resistant, shatterproof, and scratch resistant.
- Prescription lens inserts available (Performance Insert)
- Cylindrical vision advantage allows the Adidas Burna lens to be curved significantly while sill providing clarity.
- Ample lens colors to accommodate any lighting condition. LST lenses available that increase contrast while providing high light absorption.
Burna Snow Lens Issues
- The inside antifog layer is delicate and care has to be taken not to scrach it or wipe it as the antifog layer is not the most durable.
- The dual pane lens, while it does offer the cylindrical vision advantage, is not as optically clear as some of the other single pane goggles. The clarity was good but it wasn’t as clear as some of the other lenses that only weren’t dual paned.
- The outer lens has holes in it that do increase airflow and aid in the anti fogging technology but these holes can be a storage area for debris, mud, and water.
- In the event the area in between the two panes gets anything in between them, there won’t be any way to clean it.
- Lens replacement prices are a bit pricey.
- The Adidas Burna Snow lens with all its technology is more delicate and requires some more care in handling and use to keep them running optimally.
