2007 Hope Moto V2
The Lever:
The Hope Moto V2 lever is new and improved. It’s a CNC machined lever that offers aesthetics that Hope lovers will enjoy.

The V2 lever offers a bigger reservoir than previous Hope levers. This aids in keeping the system cool and working perfectly no matter how steep the descent.
The V2 lever features the typical reach adjust screw, as well as a new progression adjuster (red) that is a set and forget adjustment. It is a bit stiff to turn without relieving some pressure by slightly depressing the lever. It’s also somewhat odd in that it changes the lever reach as well when setting up the progression of the brake. It took some trial and error to set up but once set, the brake had a nice feel and felt comfortable under your fingers.

The V2 lever has to be set inboard a bit more than your typical lever. Depending on your hand size and bar length, you might run into problems with not being able to set the levers inboard enough.

The V2 is still a split perch, but Hope has mounted it in a different fashion than your typical brake. It bolts to the bar in a horizontal fashion (as seen below) to increase rigidity.

The V2 lever still uses Hope’s standard lever attachment via a bolt on one end and an allen on the other.
