RockGardn Sports Interbike 2008
RockGardn Sports is a mult-sport protection clothing company involved with powersports like ATV’s and motorcross as well as human powered industries like bicycling. They offer an impressive line of protection gear with both upper and lower protection products. One of the nicest things about their products is the amount of mods you can do. You can pick and choose exactly the amount of coverage you want depending on how knarly the trail is your on. We’ve checked out several of their products in the past and have been impressed with their Blacklite helmet, Dawn Patrol Windshirt, and TrailStar Chest Protector.

For 2009 RockGardn has made mild revisions to a few of their products to make them more complete and improve little areas. Their Summit short and jersey are now available in khaki for someone looking for a more neutral color riding gear.
Rockgardn was showing off their updated riding apparel (aka. kit) for 2009 and above you can see what they have to offer in the video above.

Rockgardn was showing off some of his new helmets for 2009 and above you can see the Warbird series helmets and some small updates to his Blacklite helmet.
Their Blacklite helmet now features a glossy finish instead of the matte rubber type paint used before. This new finish looks very nice. We never thought the old finish looked bad but now looks less impressive compared to the glossy finish.

Blacklite features:
- By using advanced, aerospace-grade thermoplastic for the shell, we’ve created a sub-three pound helmet that’s about half the cost of a composite helmet of comparable weight
- Plush inner lining is removable and washable
- Meets or exceeds DOT and European ECE standards
- Comes with drawstring helmet bag
- Available in Adult sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, and Junior sizes S/M and L/XL

They also as created some new helmets based on World War II fighter planes, the Warbird Series. Priced lower than the BlackLite, the Warbird Series still has ECE and DOT certifications but come in at a reduced price of only $129.95. These helmets are limited production as well and you can order them directly on Rockgardn’s website before they’re all gone.

Rockgardn has body armor for everyone. Women often get the short end of the stick when it comes to armor specific for them, so we shot a little video on some of the women specific armor Rockgardn carries.
RockGardn will also be bringing back their M-Theory glove that was absent during 2008 as well as still offering their immensely popular FATE carbon fiber gloves.

M-Theory glove features:
- Full-length TPR finger protection
- Soft stretch Airprene knuckle panel
- Silicon grippers on the middle and index fingers
FATE carbon fiber gloves:
- 1 X 4 split-knuckle design - rather than one large knuckle piece, there are four independent pieces sewn to a leather surround that is, in turn, sewn to a floating, ventilated neoprene panel. This panel glides over the underlying Airmesh layer, allowing the knuckle pieces to articulate with the position of your hand, eliminating pressure points whether you’re gripping or braking
- Carbon fiber forefinger protection
- Reinforced palm
- Silicon grippers on middle and index fingers
