The V.I.O. POV.1 comes with a wireless remote control that can be mounted anywhere as well so no more fiddling, missed recordings, or wasting recording space. You can watch the recorded video directly on the unit to see the carnage that you record!
The V.I.O. POV.1 continutes to set itself apart from the other helmet cameras with its features. The POV.1 records onto an SD card. Approx 40 minutes on a 1GB card in DVD (720×480) mode. The POV.1 can take upto a 2GB card. It also offers a tag mode that is close to a Tivo type mode where you can actively be recording and then decide later if the footage was worth keeping (this feature is adjustable in the settings).
You can set the tag button to actively record say 5 minutes in history and it will remember the last 5 minutes. If you’re going down a typical trail and nothing happens, you don’t save it. But if catch your buddy going over the bars you can save it! It’s like having a rewind button on your ride without having to record everything!
