Hope continues to make some of the best brakes out there for every mountain bike application. All their products come in a variety of customizible colors (such as chaning the colors of the piston caps).We’ve had some stuff on these 2007 Hope’s already but if you do a search on our main page you can see our hope coverage of the Moto FR.

In 2006 Hope migrated to phenolic pistons. I won’t diverge too much but phenolic pistons conducts less heat than stainless so less heat from the pads gets to the fluid as well as a few other benefits. See www.hopetech.com for more information.


Mono 6	Hope Moto FR Levers The body of master cylinder is in the shape of a delta for increased rigidity. There is no inflection of the master cylinder even during emergency braking. The adjustment is done with the same Allen key used for the adjustment of the distance of the lever. There are two lever shapes, standard or two fingers.

Moto FR Moto FR offers a 25% increase in power compared to the MonoM4 or Mono6 with the same disc diameter but remains progressive	Mud cutting rotor designincreased air is pushed into the caliper to help cool it as well
