As one of the world’s leading system providers for the bicycle industry DT Swiss has some new improvements and some new products for 2007. A few things to note, the new 190 ceramic hub line, the FR2350 wheelset (non butter esque 6.1 rims), and the EX1750 wheelset. The DT swiss rim’s I have owned have been the easiest rim i’ve ever used to build with and I love the way they look.
SBWT = strength boost welding technology. First two small blocks (sleeves) are pressed in both ends of the rim to stabilize the profile during the welding process. DUring the process the two ends move towards each other to achive a solid joint. Then the seam gets cnc machines. This process guarantees teh best rim joint.

Hi, nice website. I’m looking for a good set of wheels for climbing and mostly club riding. I’m 195lbs- have been looking at the DT Swiss rr 1.1 with DT 240 hubs OR the Easton Orions with DT 240 or Chorus hubs. My budget is $1000 (just bought a Specialized S-Works Tarmac and am broke now) Can you recommend which is a better deal when it comes to lightweight, durable, looks good and fit my needs. OR, if there is another wheelset you think I should conder…please advise. Thanks
