Hi,

I'm making a floating disc brake adaptor but I don't know what bearing I'll use...my problem is that I don't know if I can use a bearing with 12mm inner diameter because of the axle's tolerances..and I can't just measure the axle because the "client" lives far away..

sorry no help here really... Shouldn't that be a standard number?

Are you connecting the piece to the hub somehow? or are you having it floating to the side of the hub?

Depending on the bike you're using... brake therapy did a really sweet job with integrating the floater a bit more by integrating the floater into the dropout like so:
