Powdercoating fork lowers?

Is it possible to have Marzocchhi 888 lowers powdercoated safely?
Could the heat needed negatively effect the lowers at all, mess with tolerances or even possibly warp the lowers?
Any special prep work necessary vs. any other powdercoat job?


Obviously the fork would be completely disassembled and all seals removed and such prior to powdercoating.

You should be able to do it just fine (400F shouldn't be an issue). I'd make sure to send it to a place familiar with bike forks like S&D powdercoaters, or olympic powdercoaters.
