2010 ODI Direct Mount Stem, Flight Control Handlebars, and Wingtips

ODI Flight Control DM stem
ODI unveiled a host of new cockpit products at Sea Otter. They’re now offering a full stem line as well as handlebars with screw in extensions for custom fit. Check inside for more info.
Direct Mount Flight Control Stem
Details on ODI’s new stems are a little scarce at the moment. ODI has not fully released their new stem line but they did have samples on display. They had downhill and freeride oriented direct mount and standard design stems as well as cross country and all mountain models. Each model has indicators that match up with their handlebars to show you the tilt angle of the bar.

looks like the ODI clamping system is moto-style where the top 2 bolts are tightened first and then the bottom (click to enlarge)

the Flight Control DM stem has a wide stance for a stiffer interface, especially on long bars (click to enlarge)
Flight Control Handlebars and Wingtips
ODI has introduced an interesting solution to handlebar width fitting. They’ve created handlebars with threaded ends to install various extension sizes. The extensions come in either .5″ or .75″ allowing the rider to extend their bar up to 1.5″ of width.
The handlebars are available in a starting length of 700mm or 750mm. They have a 25mm rise and are made out of 7075-T6 aluminum with 9 degrees of backsweep and 5 degrees of upsweep. They will be available in black, blue, chrome, gold, and red.
The extensions are called Wingtips and can be bought in straight with no endplug or with endplug (designed for non-lock-on grips)
