Spotlight: 2010 Chromag Director, Fubar OSX, and Lynx DT
Chromag Bikes offers a lot of different products for XC, Trail, and Gravity riders. We thought we’d take a look at some of their latest cockpit parts for ourselves. Check inside to find out about their new Director direct mount stem, Fubar OSX handlebars, and Lynx DT saddle.
Director Stem
The Director is a 3 piece design direct mount stem. It fits the Boxxer standard direct mount design. This means it will work on dual crown forks like the newer FOX 40 and Manitou Dorado as well as models from BOS and Rock Shox.

The Director has a 50mm wide clamp with a 31.8mm diameter.

The extension is 47mm.

The stem has a low rise that puts the bottom of the bar about even with the crown.

The Director has a nice amount of machining done on it to get it lighter than their previous Box direct mount stem.

It is available in a wide array of colors (black, pewter, red, gold, green, blue), all of which come with a black faceplate.

Fubar OSX Handlebar
The Fubar OSX is a wide downhill and gravity oriented handlebar.
We have the Black Chrome version pictured in this article. It has a slightly darker smoke color finish than standard chrome. (click to enlarge)
The total width is 30” (760mm). There are cut marks on the ends should you want to cut it down. The finish is quite impressive and has a unique look to it. Chromag always seems to try to do things a little bit differently when it comes to fit and finish so its always neat to see what they come up with.

They have 5 degrees of upsweep and 8 degrees of back-sweep.

The Fubar OSX bar rise is only available in 1” (25mm).

They are made out of 7075 T6 aluminum and have a 31.8mm clamping area.

They are available in several color series:

- Paint series – Red/Grey, Blue/Grey, White/Grey

Lynx DT Saddle
The Lynx DT saddle is aimed at trail and gravity riders seeking a more narrow saddle from Chromag. It has been a pretty popular saddle and for good reason.

The saddle features a seamless synthetic top with rounded edges for more comfort.

They designed the saddle to have a wide nose and beveled mid-section for additional comfort in various riding positions.

The rails are Chromoly and fit in standard 7mm seatposts.
