Seven Springs gears up for GES #3

Seven Springs Mountain Resort will host the third annual Gravity East Series, June 12 – 14, 2009! As the premier gravity series in the United States, the GES event at Seven Springs will be third stop on a circuit of 11 top downhill mountain biking courses on the East Coast. The pro and advanced riders will race on the EC trail with the addition of a new section of trail in the lower section. The novice’s will race on 007.

The weekend-long event will consist of the following categories: 14 Under Male; 14 Under Female; Jr. Cat 1, 2 and 3 Male; 19-29 Cat 1, 2 and 3 Male; 30-39 Cat 1, 2 and 3; 40+ Cat 1 and 3 Male; Pro Male, Pro Female and Cat 1, 2 and 3 Female.

A Mad March Racing Pre-Race Clinic will be held 8 - 10 a.m., Sat., June 13. Mad March Racing, founded in 1998 by Shaums March, works diligently to provide the best hands-on mountain biking instruction available. Clinics feature detailed instruction by certified personable, professional riders, delivering personalized bike fit with secrets passed down from some of the top pro riders and mechanics in the industry. Participants for this clinic must pre-register online as well.
