“… The 2010 Revelation features an all new chassis, and travel is increased to 150mm.
Sander Rigney is the RockShox Product Manager responsible for Revelation. Rigney says, “We’re seeing more growth in longer travel trail bikes with an emphasis on reducing weight. Revelation is the ultimate suspension fork to merge lightweight and stiffness for the popular 150mm trail bike segment”.
Alloy control knobs allow riders to easily tune both the compression and rebound dampers. The new lower legs feature Power Bulges that increase stiffness and improve bushing durability. Positive and negative air spring chambers are effortless to adjust and easily guided by the air chart located on the lower leg for simple trail side tuning.”

Avid - Elixir CR Mag
There are many improvements, additions, and embellishments added to the Avid lineup for the coming year.
“Avid’s all new Elixir CR Mag hydraulic disc brake is packed with features. As the newest addition to the Avid family, Elixir CR Mag replaces Juicy Ultimate. Elixir CR Mag sports a super-light magnesium lever body, a beautiful new carbon fiber lever with sexy hollow pivot, updated master cylinder, and an all new U-Clamp. Not to mention Pad Contact-Point Adjustment, Power Reserve Geometry, Elixir power and modulation, an adjustable banjo, and semi-metalic pads.
The first part of Elixir’s incredible stopping power is Avid’s hallmark, Power Reserve Geometry. We located the pivot closer to the handlebar. In fact, closer than anyone else in the industry. The resulting lever movement has less inward travel, an arc that’s closer to your fingers’ natural motion, and delivers more force to the brake. The second part of the equation is Elixir’s super stiff, two-piece forged aluminum caliper. Its design, and the fact that it uses DOT 5.1 brake fluid, provides more heat resistance for its large, powerful pistons. Better heat management gives you consistent power that never fades.
Avid has a long history of ergonomics, adjustability and ease of service. Elixir is no exception. The Elixir CR Mag features easy-to-use Pad Contact-Point adjustment. Reach adjustment is standard on all our brakes. And just as you have come to expect from Avid, maintenance and service is practically child’s play. All Elixir brake pads load from the top, so you don’t even have to remove the wheel to change pads. Elixir CR Mag is compatible with the new MatchMaker X. The new MatchMaker X (MMX) elegantly mates with all SRAM triggers and/or the RockShox PushLoc remote to create the most ergonomic, functional cockpit ever.”

I heard some guy from Competitive Cyclist sold the ano idea to them for like $500,000,000. I heard he’s been eating shrimp and lobsters with Tupac and Biggie on that island they both bought after faking their deaths:)
At least that was the “word on the streets”
Billy Mays….KABOOM biatches.

So are the rumors I heard true, is the Elixir going to replace all of the Juicy’s? If not now, do you think they’re gearing toward doing so? Certainly seems so.
Correct, Juicy (5, 7, ultimate) are going away.
The only juicy that will survive into 2010 will be the Juicy 3 as a budget option.
really nice stuff!!! to bad that in italy it will be twice as expensive then in the states!!!
Whoa, SRAM offering center-lock brake discs! Interesting…
