The Koyna is available in a Black / Red / White Matte color. It features a 13 exterior vents to help with airflow.

Vents near the ear area help with airflow and hearing. The helmet padding is also removable for cleaning.

The Koyna comes with a helmet bag as well to help transport and protect your helmet when not in use.

More photos of the Koyna can be found in the gallery. Compared to other major DH helmets (Troy Lee, Giro, Bell, THE) the Rudy Project helmet is a bit slimmer in stature and feel. Currently Rudy Project is testing the helmet to meet ASTM 1952 so we’d personally err on the side of caution of using this helmet in DH/extreme conditions until the ASTM 1952 certification is completed. We’ll update this page as we get any new information on this helmet.
