Project: Banshee AMP

Banshee AMP

We’ve decided to open up a new section (Projects) on our site that will give you a look at some of the custom things we’re working on. The goal of this is to get more information about the bikes and their respective builds out there for you to check out sooner before we’re ready to post up a full review.

This will let us do a number of things in the future but mainly it gives us another avenue to get content you’re itching for quicker. We will update each project as we get time, so check back to see updates on your favorite projects as we experiment and build SickLines style.

Let us know what you think!

Inside we first take a look at the Banshee AMP.

Nice. look forward to seeing the weight break down, yours is a full kilo lighter then mine and i just cant work out where from…

    anyway looks trick.

ps how are you finding the fork? im thinking about giving them a go.

  • So far so good with the fork. We’ve had these wheels/fork from our other dirt jumper we built a year ago and they have worked quite well for us on it and on the AMP. It’s not quite as burly as a 20mm setup but its a good setup none the less.

  • sweet, reckon i will do that when i get back to aus.

one more thing.. do you guys have any clearance issues using those forks? i cant x-up (ride left foot forward but turn the bars left) or bar spin mine because my foot gets in the way.
running 170 profiles and reba/pikes with a 445 axle to crown.

  • There are no clearance issues with our fork and the Amp frame.

  • Well done. I am eagerly looking forward to the geared / more slalom type build you have planned. Any ideas when we will see?

Keen on one of these frames myself. Kinda want to see your build first and see what you come up with.

  • As of right now it will share a few of the same parts (headset, stem, seat/post, etc) , just need a few additional parts for it (mainly sort out the wheelset and fork) but need to get some finalize some other builds first.
