What type of cam was used?
Cam needs to be angled down a tad more. Seems too horizontal.
Also, the audio track was pure garbage…

I’m interested in knowing how you shot that as well.
Picture quality was good, very little shake. I like the angle of the video. I’d rather see the trail than look down at the front tire of rider.

Its a custom mount we setup with a handycam so it gives a lower perspective but it is susceptible to shaking a little bit if you use a lot of body English.
We’re not big fans of the camera staring at the front tire and would rather show further ahead but it could maybe be down a little bit. We like the overall look though.

I liked the cam angle, but would rather see the rider with the helmet cam following another rider. That way you can see how big the airs actually are.
As far as tha cam goes, did you have a helmet cam connected to the handycam or just the handycam mounted to the rider. You have got some quality footage there. What model handycam?

Brings back good memories, but I’m disapointed he didn’t hit the creak gap, and opted for the little table instead. I also agree that it’s much more interesting to see the helmet cam guy following a rider, it gives you a much better idea of what the terrain actually looks like.

Yea, that trail is lots of fun. Next video on dirt merchant i’ll follow someone and do the creek gap for ya but its fun to switch it up on that trail and hit the alternate lines.

That creek gap is far too kicky anyway, feels way nicer just scrubbing the little one

There’s more, but we haven’t gotten a chance to cut any more video yet.
As far as the way it was mounted is sort of hard to describe but the perspective is from below the helmet in an apparatus we made. We wouldn’t want to give it all away
