I’ll be impressed when they actually start making springs longer than 3″… this BS about a 3″ spring working for a 3″ stroke is nonsense. If you want full performance from your damper, whatever brand it is, you need a spring that is at least 10% longer than the damper’s stroke. Basic suspension principle that applies to all coil-over dampers that, for some reason, Obtainium thinks a cheap little adapter work’s around. Sorry but, if I’m forking over this kind of cash on a spring, I’m not doing “work arounds”…

  • 10% longer? Where did you come up with this figure? The length of the coil isn’t what is crucial, its the distance between the coils.

You could have a spring that is 2x as long as the damper and still have it not work if the distance between the coils isn’t big enough. Nothing wrong with the way they’re doing it. Its simple math, not random % numbers.

  • 650lbs Ti springs…but only in 3″ strokes…Too long

    I want one that fits a 2.25 stroke…
