Review: SDG I-Beam System
SDG micro adjust seat post and Formula FX saddle
SDG USA has developed a new I-Beam post. The I-Beam posts and seats are a unique system in which SDG has developed to implement simplicity, flexibility, and adjustability. We’ve used the I-beam system most recently on our Intense M6 Build.
The new I-Beam micro seat post enables the user to tweak the seat angle almost infinintely and sets to improve on the first generation I-Beam posts. In addition, SDG has introduced some new saddles (FX series) that incorperate a flex cavity to give a compliant ride. Love my I-Beam system! Very easy to install and adjust compared to the normal system, just one bolt. Had problem that my old saddle slipped on the post which means that the saddle always was as far back as it could and hit the rear tire when the rear suspension were compressed. With this system it stayes were you want it to be.
Don’t see any reason to not use the I-Beam system saddles and posts!
