Bike Build: 2008 Intense M6 FRO

2008 Intense M6 FRO
Intense is long known for creating high performance downhill bikes. This year they introduced the M6 to replace the M3 as their flagship downhill machine. We built up one to test for ourselves and see how it performs. Inside you’ll find our bike build and later down the road we’ll have a full review.

Oh holy mother of pearl!
Nice ride, didn’t know green link were an option.
Impressive weight numbers!
Thanks!
The Green links are custom done, they are not an option
sweet build… just curious what’s the weight of that 11-28 shimano cassette? and what are the ratios?
Incredible build, must be awesome fun riding this beast!
Simon - The weight of the 11-28 cassette is in our Saint writeup (231g).
Gears:
11-12-13-14-16-18-21-24-28
Those Green links COULD be an option:) ask around:P
can you give some more details about the hydraulic spring perch? i am considering a ccdb and am worried about the rubbing issues.
If you do have a rubbing issue (and have a ti spring) you can get a protective sleeve from cane creek to stop that. If you’re not running a ti spring, it shouldn’t rub.
The spring perch serves a different function, but it just worked out that it also relieved any spring rubbing in our case.
i saw this bike at winter park it was stunning
what exact model of spring perch was used? I havent found one in the weight table.
This this is indeed pretty interesting, havent seen them used before
The spring perch is 56g. Its not on the weight table because the company don’t sell them for the mtb application specifically.
Yep we’ve had the bike a bunch of places, winter park was one of them! Good eye.
hi, just wandering how you guys got hold of an industry nine rear hub in 150×12mm? i cant seem to find one.
thanks
We bought ours from I9 directly but any good shop that sells I9 can order it.
Chad @ Redbarnbicycles.com can help you out as well.
