I’m in the process of buiding up a Urban/DJ bike right now and am curious as to how the Table Tops fair against Kenda Small Block 8s…
    any ideas?

  • Small block 8’s wouldn’t be on my list really for a dj/urban bike. I’d look at the table tops, kenda k-rad, or maxxis holyrollers. These tires have treadpatterns that a bit more ideal for that use.

  • Why not the Mob?

  • Why not the Riot? :)

  • Why not Intense MicroKnobbies? Sickest tires ever for dirt and street.

  • Yea elohttub, that tire does look good. We haven’t gotten a hold of them though but they do look like a very good option as well.

  • I’ve said the Mob ’cause i’m used to see here all kinds of high-end parts, bikes and frames..

  • Why not a NS Suburban? :D

  • The Riot isn’t a low end frame. We have featured / used many “budget” parts in our builds as well from time to time so its not that uncommon. (Hone Cranks, Xt drivetrains, X.9 drivetrains, 105 derailleur, etc).

Its not all about high end parts (in terms of $), we just pick parts that work well for the task at hand.

Why not an NS Suburban? Because we picked a Riot is why. There’s tons of hardtail frames out there!

  • yeah, I guess that it’s the right way..not looking only at the top shelf stuff..

I’m not saying that the Riot is a low-end frame,BlkMrkt did a good thing bringing the expensive Mob to the masses…I’m sure that is well made but not many people have so much money to dish out on a HT frame

i’d also liked to see the NS Suburban here. Maybe next week i’ll buy mine and your review would be useful.
