Neko Mulally (15 years old) qualified 1st followed by Kevin Aeillo. During the finals, five riders had to do re-runs which helped out a few of the racers.
- Grahm Pitts crashed first run
- Naish Ulmer crashed first run
- Joey Schustler Lost Chain first run
Neko, 15, and not eligible for the worlds team raced well both qualifying and race run around 3:19. Will Collins crashed hard Saturday went to Hospital. His riding was dialed down to about 50% on Sunday as a result.
The west coast racers adapted well to the terrain which is similar to the world championship course. All the riders were happy and no no one seemed to be upset because of the reruns (non racers cut thru finish line which screwed up the timing).
Conditions were foggy, and a muddy/slick track on a very steep course with two drops over 8″ and three over 4 feet.
